Therapy
As a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist (Hypno-CBT®.), and trained in trauma, gut hypnosis, anxieties, parents mental health and the perinatal period, I offer confidential, non-judgmental talking therapy. You are unique and we will work together to bring you back into balance, in a way that will inspire you.
I know what it’s like to wrestle with mental ill-health - and to overcome that struggle and I’m dedicated to helping people make the necessary changes to become themselves again, or a new, more balanced version of themselves if that’s what it takes. Everyone is unique, and I use my knowledge, expertise and experience to craft a therapy plan to suit each individual depending on their needs and of course, budget.
I love helping people find ways to overcome stress and anxiety, trauma and low-mood, reaching their full potential, increasing self confidence and self esteem and putting their fears aside. Often in a handful of sessions - Hypno-CBT usually requires just 3-6 sessions to see long-lasting results and goals achieved.
I am dedicated and passionate about empowering and guiding you to achieve the things you want, make the changes you need and live your life in the way you most desire.
It is not about relying on me as a coach or therapist, but about helping you learn the tools and techniques to become the person you want to be. It’s about finding your balance and keeping it for life; or finding ways to get it back when life slings you a few curveballs, as it inevitably does.
As a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register, and the CNHC, the techniques I use are recognised as both safe and highly effective. I love books and always having something to research or refer to. from key Clinical Hypnosis texts such ’Hartland’s Medical and Dental Hypnosis’ through to books by on Anxiety, IBS, Menopause, Perinatal Mental Health and Polyvagal Theory. I use techniques that are constantly evolving, and make a conscious effort to ensure I’m up to date with the latest developments and best-practices. My methods are the same as those used by many medical professionals and while I’ve built my practice around evidence-based approaches, I remain open-minded to other approaches and also have Diploma’s in Aromatherapy, Holistic Massage and Anatomy & Physiology.
I hold certificates in Usui Reiki 1 & 2, NICABM Treating Trauma, Polyvagal Theory, PTSD & Resilience, HeartMath Clinical Certification for Stress, Anxiety and Self-Regulation and Menopause Movement. I take a holistic approach and you’ll find me making my clients aromatherapy blends to enhance their home-practice and wellbeing as well as giving soothing audio meditations to enhance practice and relaxation.

Hypno-CBT will help you take ownership of your own thoughts and behaviours, putting you in control of the changes you want to make in your life.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is based on the approach that “thoughts, feelings, what we do and how our body feels are all connected. If we change one of these we can alter the others.” (British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies). It is a highly successful, established and recognised therapy which is why the NHS uses it to refer people into when they present with mild, moderate to severe mental illness.
Hypnotherapy is the therapy of ’imaginative suggestion’, or words that are used to stimulate the conscious imagination profoundly enough to bring about genuine therapeutic change. Our brains, imagination and bodies work together often in our day to day life in this way – such as feeling hungry when we see a food advert or our hearts racing when we watch an action movie. Unfortunately, sometimes we can use this without realising (subconsciously) in ways that are not very beneficial to us. When used in the right ways it can have incredible benefits and lead to a complete change in behaviour and mindset.
CBH is a seamless integration of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Evidence-Based Clinical Hypnotherapy. It is proven to have higher success rates and longer-lasting results than either can deliver in isolation.

Hypnotherapy is an evidenced-based treatment for IBS and other functional gut disorders, as recommended by NICE and WHO. It is a simple, natural treatment that can be effective in just 3-6 sessions which are tailored to you and your circumstances. In person or online with additional resources given to use in between sessions to boost your healing and your self efficacy. 9/10 people have seen great improvements in symptoms using hypnosis and it can be used alongside medical treatments and diets effectively.

We all live with anxiety - it’s a very natural and normal state to be in and can be very helpful, BUT, many of us are living with high levels of anxiety that over time can become debilitating and prevent us from going about our daily routines, or lead us into burnout where we can’t function well and may have to stop work.
to help you cope better and feel in control again, I call upon techniques that include CBT, hypnotherapy, mindfulness and positive psychology. We can work together over just 1 session to reduce your anxiety and with 3 sessions we can see some long-lasting effects on your anxiety levels and accompanying symptoms.
In person in Broadstairs, Thanet, Kent or online sessions available.

Mindfulness has significant and wide-ranging benefits, especially if you’re dealing with stress and anxiety. Mindfulness is a simple idea – it’s about being fully present and aware of your emotions, physical sensations and everything that’s going on around you. The challenge for most people is in understanding how you do this, and how you integrate it into your daily life and stick to it. Using it in daily life routines is hugely beneficial and can become a conditioned response in just a short period of time. Mindfulness does not mean sitting like a buddhist monk and meditating all day, it can be applied in a few minutes and have tremendous benefits at helping to establish a more balanced perspective.
I have experience using Mindfulness working with individuals to establish their own mindfulness routines, in group settings, for childbirth and parenting (I have written and recorded many audios for an app for Mothers called “Nourish”), and I also have my own daily Mindfulness practice, and with my children, very much ‘practising what I teach’.

I incorporate both mind and body soothing and safety practices into every client session. We can’t have one without the other. You will learn techniques to use to become more attuned to your body’s ability to hold and heal and for you to listen into what it is telling you via Interoception too.
Hormonal imbalances are the bain of every womans life - and unfortunatrely as we are more impacted by stress in the world both externally and internally, our hormones are affected. Hypnotherapy is an evidence based way to improve the imbalance and effective at tackling issues such as mood swings, sleep issues, brain fog, hot flushes and more.
It’s recommended to have an initial 6 sessions and many people see their symptoms drastically improve and recover. If you need more ongoing consistency and nurturing support, we can continue with 1:1 sessions to suit you.
Included in your package are audios, written worksheets, and a lifeline/accountability via WhatsApp.
